ANGE LES CITY --- In a bid to modernize the Ospital Ning Angeles (ONA), Attorney Dennis Albert Pamintuan, city hall administrator said Mayor Edgardo Pamintuan is set to go to the United States to receive the donated hospital equipment from the said country.
The city administrator said the Pamintuan administration is committed to expand ONA through constructin a new building with dialysis and CT scan center that will be used and accessed by the people of Angeles.
Included in the commitment of Mayor Pamintuan to ONA is the provision of new equipment worth hundreds of millions of pesos.
The mayor has ordered the creation of Medical and Social Services Office through the issuance of Executive Order No. 5. This would pave the way for the mayor’s office to serve the marginalized families of the city.
Coming upwith a permanent solution to the health problem of the poor city folks, the MSSO is planning to provide assistants to indigents for the hospitalization and treatment of sick patients.
Pamintuan said the MSSO will assist the poor folks that will not benefit from the charity projects of ONA due to lack of awareness, access to the hospital and financial constraints.
Reports have that the creation of MSSO would strengthen the coordination effort of the city government with various civic organizations and charity programs such as the Endowment Fund of the Ospital ning Angeles-RLMMC, and other NGOs and including the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO).
