Cong. Dong works for improved quality of life of Sta Ana folks

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO --- In a bid to quickly respond for the countryside development in Sta Ana town, Third District Congressman Aurelio “Dong” Gonzales has approved several Sangguniang Bayan Resolutions aimed at giving the people and the communities here with a descent and good quality of life as presented by Mayor Rommel ‘Omeng” Concepcion and Vice Mayor Mediatrix Nolasco.

Concepcion said the officials and the people of Sta. Ana are very grateful to the congressman for his appropriate and immediate actions on their concerns.

The mayor said through the able and full support of the congressman and his partnership with the local officials, the town has achieved various accomplishments and worthwhile legacies such as provision of scholarship program for the poor but deserving students, health intervention for the sick, financial assistance to the needy, farm tractors and other agricultural support for the farmers, livelihood for the jobless, among others.

The congressman told this reporter that he has also approved the proposed provision of multi-cabs for the official use of the 14 barangays in Sta. Ana plus the improvement and expansion of the municipal hall to three-storey building.

Concepcion said the 14 service vehicles will only cost P250,000 each with some improvement and repainting.

Gonzales has also briefed by Concepcion on the proposed expansion of the public market to accommodate the sidewalk and fish vendors to avoid the traffic hazards along the Jose Abad Santos Avenue.

Concepcion said the plan is to construct an over hanged flooring on top of the creek located beside the public market.

The congressman has also doing its work for the realization of two covered courts in barangays San Jose and San Agustin.

In an interview with Gonzales, he said that he will do his best to help his constituents and the villages in addressing their unmet needs for the upliftment of their quality of life as he always said, “ Kapartido ko, Mahal Ko.”
